Field Trip to the Post Office

A social studies project took the K-A Kids to the post office before valentine's day. They were each assigned to bring to school a valentine/letter stamped and addressed to be mailed. Before our trip we marked the U.S. map to show where each letter was headed. We took them to the post office to be mailed and then had an informational tour.
